So, yesterday was my second OB appointment. Everything seems to be going wonderfully. I finally got to meet my doctor. She’s amazing. I keep lucking out with doctors. My primary care physician in Gainesville was a shot in the dark, and she’s amazingly sweet & down-to-earth. All the doctors at her office are overly kind and make sure to speak in patient terms, instead of doctor-language. They never leave you wondering. They give reasons for every single test they run. So, I was super happy when I lucked out again with another great doctor. I know some people go out interviewing potential OB’s, but my PCP referred me to NFRMC for my prenatal & delivery care, and my choice of the actual doctor was random. Come to find out, it’s the same doctor Daniel’s mom had, and Daniel knows one of her nurses. I absolutely could not be happier with my choice. Now, let’s hope I can luck out with my pediatrician choice. ;)
Anyway, the appointment yesterday went fairly quick. McNugget & I are healthy. (McNugget is the term we use for the baby right now, since it’s just a little Nugget & we don’t know it’s gender yet. “Mc” comes from McLeod…and my love for McDonalds. ;]) We were able to hear the heartbeat yesterday! So sweet. Such a perfect moment! <3 Next OB appointment: April 4. I’ll update more often now though. Guess who’s in her second trimester? ;) I’m all in now. Super excited!!!!!!!
